NORTHERN PAPER COMPANY 1960 ILLUSTRATION ADS
Sometimes advertisements take on a life of their own, in 1960 Northern released a series of ad featuring wonderful illustrations of little girls, in the toilet tissue ads, and little boys, for paper towels. This ads were popular enough that in 1961 they started selling prints of the children for people to frame and put in their homes. The images are actually pretty sweet and attractive, despite the over-sized heads and eyes of the children or maybe because of them.
